Mondae: Terms and Operator Agreement

Effective date: October 18, 2026, replacing the September 1, 2026 version

The service

Mondae is a text-message business assistant operated by Michael Chiovitti (sole proprietor), Thomaston, Connecticut, USA ("Mondae", "we"). A business owner ("you", "the operator") texts Mondae to get the money side of the work done: estimates, invoices, receipts, payment records, reminders, and a short summary of where the business stands. Mondae drafts; you confirm; nothing goes to a customer unless you send it. You agree to these terms when you send your first estimate or invoice from a Mondae preview; the line under the send button says so.

How it works with your customers

• Every text to your customer comes from your own phone. Mondae writes the message and hands it to you with the estimate or invoice link; you choose the recipient from your own contacts and send it. If you choose to email it instead, it goes from your own email. Mondae's line never texts your customers.
• Your customers accept estimates and pay invoices on pages Mondae hosts for your business. Each page carries your business name and your own phone number for questions.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your estimates, invoices, and records, for having your customers' permission to text them, and for your own dealings with them.

Texts from Mondae to you

• Mondae texts you on its line: replies to what you ask, a Monday summary, a short Friday check-in, reminders when money is waiting, and notices when a customer accepts or pays. Message frequency varies with your use. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time and Mondae stops texting you; our messaging provider enforces this too. After STOP you receive one message with the link to cancel your account, and nothing more until you text Mondae again. STOP by itself does not cancel your subscription; see Canceling below.
• For help, text Mondae "help" or email mike@sundaemedia.co.
• Carriers and messaging providers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Price and billing

• Mondae costs $199.99 a month, one price, everything included. After your first estimate or invoice goes out, Mondae texts you a link to put a card on file; the first charge is made when you do, and the same amount is charged to that card every month on that date until you cancel.
• Billing is handled by Stripe. Mondae never sees your card number. Stripe emails you a receipt for every charge, and Mondae records each charge as a software expense in your records.
• Until a card is on file, Mondae answers your requests with the link instead of doing the work. The same happens if your card stops working for more than a week; updating the card restores everything.
• A promotional code, when we offer one, is entered on the card page and applies as described there.

Canceling

• Text Mondae "cancel my account" at any time. You receive a link to a page with three choices: keep your account as it is, pause it, or cancel. Canceling takes one tap on that page.
• When you cancel, your account runs through the end of the month you have paid for, then stops. No partial-month refunds. Text "keep my account" before then and nothing changes.
• If you need to cancel another way, email mike@sundaemedia.co from the email on your Stripe receipt and we will cancel it for you within two business days, effective the same way.

Pausing your account

• On the cancel page you can pause your account for one, two, or three months instead. Nothing is charged while paused, and your customers, jobs, and records stay in place.
• The pause ends on the date shown when you choose it. Your billing date does not move: the $199.99 monthly charge resumes on your regular billing date after the pause ends, without further notice, and Mondae texts you the day the pause ends. Text "I'm back" to end a pause early; the charge then resumes on your next regular billing date.

Customer payments

Where you offer card or bank payment, the payment is processed by Stripe on your own Stripe account. You are the merchant; Mondae is not a party to the sale, never holds your money, and never stores card numbers. Stripe's fees come out of each payment; Mondae adds nothing. Cash and check payments you record in Mondae are records only; no money moves through Mondae.

Your data

Your records belong to you. Text Mondae "my invoices" or any report at any time for a copy. When you leave, you can ask for an export of everything. Deletion is not automatic: we delete our copy ourselves within thirty days after your account ends, or sooner if you ask, except what we must keep for tax or legal reasons. Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and who processes it.

Beta

• Mondae is in beta. The service is provided "as is". Data may be lost; keep your own copies of anything you cannot do without.
• Mondae reads your texts with software and can make mistakes. Every estimate, invoice, and payment record is shown to you for a yes before it goes out, and you are responsible for checking it.
• Mondae does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Mondae's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid Mondae in the month the claim arose. Mondae is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost business, or for a customer's failure to pay.

Acceptable use

The service may not be used for unlawful purposes, harassment, or unsolicited promotional messaging. Mondae never sends marketing messages to your customers. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, Mondae will text you before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Mondae after that is acceptance of the new terms.
